necessary for treatment. In general, 6-8 injections are recommended for
joint treatment, and 3-6 injections are recommended for back treatment.
The serum is applied once or twice a week.

are dealing with the usual types of contraindications for articular

of the injection site. The Orthokine-Therapy should preferably be
performed among patients in a good general health condition.
Furthermore, standards for articular installations are mandatory.
How high are the risks of side-effects through the Orthokine-Therapy?
The
number of side-effects is quite low. This has been proven by the
clinical trials shown here, as well as years of experience and
follow-up. The Bochum Spine Clinical Trial did not show a single
side-effect. The Düsseldorf Knee Osteoarthritis Clinical Trial merely
showed few side-effects, whereas we are only dealing with local signs
of inflammation. Serious local or systemic side-effects can definitely
be excluded.
What type of side-effects may I expect from the Orthokine-Therapy?
Due
to the fact that we are dealing with an autologous substance, the
Orthokine-Therapy is tolerated very well, as it excludes allergic
reactions. Redness, swelling and joint inflammation in the worst case,
are side-effects which may occur, through the injection itself.
